New Set Revealed!

Perijove's project Mars Science Labaratory Curiosity Rover, which was announced to be the fifth Cuusoo product, has been revealed and will be released January 1, 2014. Check out Cuusoo's blog for more information.

Here is the original Curiousity model. The project looks very similar to the new one.

I've been working on a new project, mainly to try and translate the Canadian rock band Rush into LEGO form. The above image shows some logos that I would like to add to the minifigures' torsos. I am currently creating the project using decals on the figures and instruments. When I have finished each figure, I will try and post a picture here. Make sure that any Rush fans you know will be aware of this, and hopefully they will support it.

New Project by Ssorg Flies to 100 Supporters, Lothlorien Swan Ship Hits 100 Supporters, BTTF - UCS DeLorean Time Machine Makes 8000 Supporters, Lord of the Rings Set: Minas Tirith Reaches 2000 Supporters, and Review Results

Buffalo Airways/Ice  Pilots DC-3, an new project by Ssorg, has flown past 100 supporters. I love this project, and it's details are stunning. Make sure to check it out.

Lothlorien Swan Ship by reekardoo has also hit 100 supporters. Check out my last post for some details on this project.

BTTF - UCS DeLorean Time Machine by m.togami hit 8000 supporters. The creator has made plenty of BTTF projects too, so check them out. This project has a UCS DeLorean and a remote control. Hopefully this project will continue, and maybe even go past 5th place in the rankings.

Lord of the Rings Set: Minas Tirith by NujuMetru has reached 2000 supporters. This is probably my favorite LotR project on Cuusoo, so make sure to check it out.

The review results are in! I have to say, this was one of the greatest reviews ever, and I supported all of these projects.

First up: League of Legends of Lego - The Raid on Baron Nashor by Addam did not pass the review. I was sad at this news, because it was probably my favorite of all in the review, but oh well. I knew it couldn't happen anyway.

Next: Batmobile Tumbler Minifig Scale by BrentWaller didn't pass the review. A great looking Batman Tumbler, but the license ideas killed it.

Mini Shop Series by Pekko also didn't make it. The project featured the designs of miniature shops and restaurants, such as McDonald's and Starbucks.

- The Legend of Zelda Project -  by Ragaru was the fourth to not make it. This is the second Zelda related project not to make it, and the 1st place Legend of Zelda: Iron Knuckle Encounter will soon be the third to make 10000. This project, as well as the original, did not make it because of new molds and licenses.

Andy/Bugdroid the Android by Google by GLHTurbo was shot down because of licenses. I would have loved to have this on my desk. :(

Space Troopers! by NickRoyer didn't make it because it was a playtheme. It was an interesting topic, and would have made a great theme if it hadn't been for Galaxy Squad.

Purdue Pete by sandsanm was rejected, and even though this project made it in only 16 days, the license has shot down another worthy project.

Thinking with Portals! by Brickthing was from the last review, and was shot down this time because of a license issue.

Land-Rover Defender 110 by Sheepo is moved to the next review to be decided, similar to what happened to Portal.

Exo Suit by PeterReid has been decided on as the next Cuusoo project, and will be the sixth in the line.

Super Heroes Racers Hits 1000

Okay has created a great project based on Super Heroes without recreating a scene. Combining the two themes of Super Heroes and  Racers was pure genius, and just makes this project one of the best on Cuusoo. Super Heroes Racers has spent a short time to make it to 1000, and I'm glad it has. I hope this makes 10000 soon!

Lothlorien Project Up, Lothlórien Swan Ship Takes Off

My new project, Lothlorien, has been posted, as suggested by BrickCore99. The model has the Mirror of Galadriel, a large tree with flet, and seven minifigs.

Lothlórien Swan Ship by reekardoo was also posted today, and in an hour has more than twenty supporters. I am a huge fan of reekardoo's projects, including his huge series of Galaxy Command projects.

Medieval Market Street Reaches 2000 Supporters

Medieval Market Street by AlexP has hit 2000 supporters. The creator specializes in extreme detail, and this project is no exception. Please support it if you haven't already.

UCS All Terrain Armored Transport Hits 3000, Top New Projects, and Project Updates

UCS All Terrain Armored Transport reached 3000 supporters yesterday. This project by Cavegod is one of the most amazing Star Wars projects on Cuusoo, and with this milestone, it is the fourth most supported Star Wars project on Cuusoo, and the twenty-sixth most supported of all projects. The project features a massive AT-AT, more than double the height of set 4483. I would love to have this.

Week of 10/13/12:
Wipeout: The Gauntlet: This project may be the best Wipeout project by WipeoutZone. Like all of his projects, it includes an obstacle from the show and two contestants, a male and a female. This is quite a good project, and check out the whole series if you liked this one.

BTTF - Locomotive 131: m.togami has made so many BTTF sets now that it makes my head spin. He has already had one to reach ten thousand and be published as an official set, and he has two more in the top ten projects on the site. This particular project includes Locomotive 131, a miniature DeLorean, and a few excellently designed minifigures. This may not be his best, but it will be a top project soon.

The Forbidden Pool: Here is my LotR pick this week. It isn't the best forbidden pool, but iceym117 has done a decent job. If you liked this, be sure to check out this one.

The Stallion: This is a great imperial navy ship, and cutietiny's best project. I am a huge fan of the details on this project. I am not loving the interior, but I would buy this just for the outside.

The Battle of Pelennor Fields: Defense of Minas Tirith has been updated to have a better catapult, a model of the Minas Tirith Gate, and a full minifigure list. I hope you will support it now if you didn't support it before.

I have two projects planned, Lothlorien (in review) and Khazad Dum.

Ambush of the Ithilien Rangers has Reached 100 Supporters

Ambush of the Ithilien Rangers has hit 100 supporters this week, created by Dusty-Bricks. The project features an incredible Oliphaunt, a hill, and eight minifigures. Features include a hidden trapdoor, movable legs and head, and a catapult. Hopefully this project will take off, because I would love to see this in real life.

I have a major update planned for Battle of Pelennor, with a brand new catapult, no boxes, more realistic pictures, and the Gates of Minas Tirith. The project name will change to The Battle of Pelennor Fields: Defense of Minas Tirith, and another project with an oliphaunt will follow.

Week of 10/6/13

Iron Man armor mark 35: This project is excellent. It is an excellent MOC, not to mention it is based on an awesome Iron Man suit. The connection of limbs is great, and I am a huge fan of the wide range of motion this project provides, and I love when minifigures are the center of mechs. whatsuptoday has plenty of really good mech projects, you should check them out.

AVATAR Playset with AMP-Suit, Samson and Site 26: This project is one of my all-time favorites. The build is really good, and consists of a Samson, AMP-Suit, and Site 26. The Samson is really amazing, and I am a huge fan of the fans and the machine guns on the side. The AMP-Suit is another amazing mech suit, and the cockpit and arms have a really excellent design. The Site 26 model is really accurate to the movie version too, yet I would like to see it's interior. p_crowfield has created a really excellent model. I expect this project to be a top project in the future. If you like AVATAR projects, make sure to check out reekardoo and his Scorpion Gunship.

The Darkbringer - Galaxy Command: Another excellent Galaxy Command project. I had seen this for a long time ago on the original Galaxy Command. This is an excellent walker, and a really cool void vehicle. reekardoo is the creator of all the Galaxy Command projects. I suggest you check them out if you like this one.

These are my top three these week. For last week, there were lots of good ones, and you should check out these two: W427 Hardtail Bobber a.k.a The Widowmaker and Lord of the Rings: The Cracks of Doom.
